I haven't been able to explore this very much yet. What I know so far is that you use your current deck hand to collect master pieces that you can use to unlock stronger deck hands.

I wonder if the button “20* promote without using equipement” really let you upgrade your deckhand without losing a comb lvl 20 rod? The buttom seems to indicate this but actually I dont have a rod to sacrifice if I should be wrong. #CurCat
For test purpose I combined a low level rod to lvl 20 and tried to promote a deckhand from D to C. Unfortunately on both options 2000 Gold and 20 Stars I got the message "Insufficient materials". No promotion possible. Obviously you need at least 40 masterpieces - good luck collecting with just 2 tries and a probably 30 % success rate each day. Thinking of GV I reckon this number might be even higher on further promotion levels. AND ADDITIONALLY you need these lvl 20 combined rod. Since I doubt that GV will value these "20 stars without loosing equipement" the same as an lvl 20 combined rod, I'm still curious how this option will behave. Maybe someone has tried already? #Corleona
Hey! I have already promotet some of my deckhands to LVL "C". Now it's the first time (already collected 40 masterpieces) to promote to B-grade. As I am not willing to lose my LV25 rod, I will pass using 80* :( Upgrading deckhand to A-Grade will use 60 masterpieces and 180*. Hefty!
Anyone knows if the premium summon gives you any good rod?? I have 2200stars and i'll wait and get few more for blessed fgg or normal fgg, but if premium summon allows you to get a rare rod i'll try. What's the probability to get a rare rod from fgg? I've get 2xdl 1x ot and 1xaws for now
Got a lightning rod from a free summons.. as far as the masters go, it seems that patience is the key. Keep fishing harry with bait for monsters per various fishing sites and make sure he has good equipment and you can net some stars as well as gold and exp. He caught a few big black snakeheads and a monster pike for me so far and i got the stars for it. All in all, resist the urge to buy your rewards and just keep on fishing him, execise a lil patience and the rewards start to come in. Peace

I did not understand how it works with infinity ship... if i raise my class, the ship with 3 stages and 1 stamina will be avaiable? I find this stage useful to raise money 'cos infiniti boxes are easy to get, so i prefer to stay on amateur class than not be allowed to be in this easy stage... can anyone tell me how it works?

As long as you don't go higher than A class you can still do Amateur class IS runs.
