Quite a steep price for something unknown. I took a gamble and draw one card, and got a Normal Bait Reel, which gave me: Reeling stats: 150 Special effect: ATT +20 You can combine the reel just like you combine a rod, or you can use the reel as a material for combining process. Don't know how much point you got from the reel though.
There are four reels available at Lucky Card: Ace Bait Reel Advanced Spinning Normal Bait Reel Basic Spinning Reel I believe with Advanced Spinning and Ace Bait Reel, you can get a special effect just like you got from an ancient/epic fish (CRI+, Line max+, +luck, no dive+, serenity, elasticity and so on) while you only got a normal stat boost with Normal Bait Reel and Basic Spinning Reel.
You have to repair the reel just like you repair your rod after each cast, but the problem is you can't upgrade the reel (maybe we can sometime later on) so you're stuck with 100 durability.
Your reel's appearances will change according to your equipped reel, and I think that's about it from my own experience. One guy said that with the new reel he can FTF with his Hero-A (currently unable to FTF, at least not until the last maintenance), but maybe it's not because of the reel but because GV change some rod's elasticity.
As with almost all aspect of the game, nothing is 100% certain so think very hard and carefully if you want to spend 300* on this new reel, especially if you already saving up to buy a powerful rod. You might ended up disappointed.
Oh I forgot the most important thing: You have to run the latest version of the game (v.1.6.0), so for iOS users: go find yourself an android device if you want to try out this new feature. Last time I heard, you guys still stuck with v.1.5.4 so v.1.6.0 might come at least one or two month later heheh
I got a normal reel and a basic reel, basic had + no dive, the normal was just +10 ctr, I combined for kicks and got stat boost in basic reel and serenity on the normal reel. I guess its all random -aejynx

It's because today's dino is Hybodus, an easy one. Try that with more difficult dinos like Dunkleosteus, Livyatan, Hainosaurus or Predator X and tell us if the same magic happen again.

So should one wait to get a special reel for usage with high level rods or can this be changed any time? 3. How to detach a reel? After using a reel, is it possible switch back to the usual no-name reel?

Also, I caught each of the fish above on the first cast on that particular site.

Anyone help? I have dual infinity +14 and some assassins gear. I have the 300* to get a reel... Would I be better off saving for a stb, or more assassins gear, or should I just give in and get the reel. I used to be able to catch gb regularly, but since the updates, I haven't been able to. Trying to move from a wolfie to a 9* tank. I am just wondering which would help the most. Thanks to all... tm6009
for the quickest way to get gb probably is to wait for equipment sale and get the remainder of the assassin gears. With a full set you should be able to FTF GBs in. I know folks who get by with star seeker sonic for a 9 star tank.
A more sure fire way is to save for a STB or above, but that would be a longer wait if you cannot get there during the current rod sale. You will hit the equipment sale faster. If you have enough gold (not star) you could also try buying AE. That may be slightly better than dual infinity for egg farming.

I vote for the rod. Definitely not the reel since it will only improve one attribute. Recent upgrade seems to have brought GB and BS aggressive level back down. They are now easier to contain within 20m when farming in friends' aquarium. So give them another try. Nest20

so its obvious that with the new reel up date, its just their way of trying to get more people to spend actual $$ to buy stars just to get these reels even though it is completely obvious that atm the reels are sooo not worth the effort. plus the fact that you have to repair the reels like everything else. i mean its bad enough that our equipment all degrade so expensively and quickly. i don't think they thought this update thoroughly. but nice tempt though.

That is completely false. I FTF just the same as before. However, save your stars. I do not see any benefit whatsoever in having the reel equipped. It didn't change a thing for me.
I should say....that "I" don't see any difference + or - I believe @uisim is seeing a difference, but can only assume it is due to the technique being used.
Just bought one ticket and received Advanced with 200 reeling and +20 ATT. Imagine my surprise when i felt the difference - BG NEVER swim further than 15 m even SSS, BS somethimes are gone for about 20m i had blue frenzy ONCE!!! Farming eggs was easy, but now it's a joke. Got Assassin +11 OT +15: 3700 ATT, 3300 SKL and 2480 CTR. H00dy
I got 3 reels basic spinning, normal baitcasting and advance spinning. When farming gold in lotus pond using three different reel I've noticed advance spinning reel slowing blue dash speed and travelling distance. Only 1/4 screen compared to 1/2 without reel. ID. 1speedy I take 300 Stars for Reel Tiket and get Normal Bait Reel. Their Reeling Stats: 150; Special Effect: SKL +10 ( this we know can be another one on all Reels) I reached now on this Reel LV 10 (max. = 20 is puplic) with Combinating 8694 Points and get SKL: +30; ATT: +50; CRI+ : D- and CTR: +5 but problem ist that you dont know what Stats you will get befor Combinating its the same Problem as Combinating Roods - Nobody can say what happens after Combinating, what Stats will gone higher or will come new. Fact is the Reel Powers up your Character but once Reel is in use you can only change to another one, means if you used Reel there is no way back to standard-rood without Reel, be carefully once used you must allways us this ore another Reel (if you have)

Just did a test on on GoldenViewingPlatform for the LINE+ effect on 3 different recently purchased Ace Bait Reels. The line snaps:
at 77,9m on Reel without Line+ effect at 78,6m on Reel with Line+ [D-] at 79,3m on Reel with Line+ [D]
not much of an advantage if you ask me, especially since everybody tries to keep the fish in no dive distance.
Lets see which effects they get during the combining process. Otherwise theese reels are naked already worth 4000 combining points each. Better than nothing.

i have to agree .. since i use the ace bait reel i havent been able to land a chinese paddle fish, line always snapped, even with goonch catfish... hooks become bloody red... these never happen before with normal reel ... to make matter worse this reel cannot be undo ... damn GV
So far I dont feel much difference between using an Expert or an Advanced or an ACE Reel and I have no idea how these reeling stats are supposed to affect your fishing.
What is much more interesting to me are the addtional stats which you get through combining the wheels since this might give you Elasticity, Serenity, no-dive or some of the other real useful specialties on top of your rod. If one of your reels gets no-dive, well every of your rods can use it.
From these point of view a new reel is much cheaper than your VB LVL16 which unforunaterly missed no-dive and crit while combined. Get a few reels, combine them and cross your fingers
Anyone knows what the reeling stats means? I got a Ace & Advance, ace- +10att and advance - +30att, when equipped with them the advance one up my stats on the att compare to the ace. I need to know what is the reel stats for if not the advance reel seems better in stats as it give better stats on my att.
I got advanced reel yesterday, I think it's quite affect my OT performance, since I got SSS great barracuda easily with FTF. it is not work very good when reeling eurasian perch, but can anybody tell me how to upgrade these reels, since the upgrade button always off
i try basic, normal, advance and expert - there are no any difference except max combining level. for example reel +22 have 5 bonuses. And as for perfomance - when my device little lagging i can even land GB before his health running to 0. without lags it keeps in 20+m.

Recently got the potential spinning reel speacial stat serenity +3 and infinite bait reel with no special stat. Does anyone know if I could still aquire a special stat on the infinite reel by combining? It's already combined lvl 12 and none yet.
i also got infinite bait reel and combining level is 13. stats are atk:70, skl:50, ctr:20 and reeling:350 & Line+: *x2 but using combining there is no change in special stats. got only atk, skl & ctr.

When using this reels..FTF work worse compare without reel..line always cut.. it always happen when i almost get fish.. can someone explain why?
i have to agree .. since i use the ace bait reel i havent been able to land a chinese paddle fish, line always snapped, even with goonch catfish... hooks become bloody red...
Deletethese never happen before with normal reel ... to make matter worse this reel cannot be undo ... damn GV
So far I dont feel much difference between using an Expert or an Advanced or an ACE Reel and I have no idea how these reeling stats are supposed to affect your fishing.
ReplyDeleteWhat is much more interesting to me are the addtional stats which you get through combining the wheels since this might give you Elasticity, Serenity, no-dive or some of the other real useful specialties on top of your rod.
If one of your reels gets no-dive, well every of your rods can use it.
From these point of view a new reel is much cheaper than your VB LVL16 which unforunaterly missed no-dive and crit while combined. Get a few reels, combine them and cross your fingers

Anyone knows what the reeling stats means? I got a Ace & Advance, ace- +10att and advance - +30att, when equipped with them the advance one up my stats on the att compare to the ace. I need to know what is the reel stats for if not the advance reel seems better in stats as it give better stats on my att.

I got advanced reel yesterday, I think it's quite affect my OT performance, since I got SSS great barracuda easily with FTF. it is not work very good when reeling eurasian perch, but can anybody tell me how to upgrade these reels, since the upgrade button always off

i try basic, normal, advance and expert - there are no any difference except max combining level. for example reel +22 have 5 bonuses. And as for perfomance - when my device little lagging i can even land GB before his health running to 0. without lags it keeps in 20+m.

ReplyDeleteRecently got the potential spinning reel speacial stat serenity +3 and infinite bait reel with no special stat. Does anyone know if I could still aquire a special stat on the infinite reel by combining? It's already combined lvl 12 and none yet.
