SUNKEN GARDEN

Please post tips, tricks,  and baits for new fish here. Good luck everyone.

Any help and info you can give me about baits, PA, regen, exp points, and $ would be greatly appreciated. I'll compile all the info for everyone to use in the fish location and baits thread after a week or so. Thanks in advance!

  3. Hooked Painted Sweetlips (mid to long middle) and False Fusilier (long on left) on S Worm. No ftf possible due to immediate red hook. Failed to catch either after retrying and using standard technique. There are a few other smaller fish with no ftf but have managed to catch. #JoeBlogs

  4. Mola fish. PA 49000 rank A or below. A-earthworm. Move like sunfish but no ftf. Beware of its diving. Hp recovery is 980, very frustrating. Will turn blue but short distance. Btw many no ftf fishes in this location bite earthworm.

    1. Yes, Mola Fish is super frustrating. I finally caught one on s-crank bait. Fighting this fish took me a long time before landing. I think I fought it for nearly 10 minutes. This fight reminded me of fighting the Hammering Yeti.

  5. Yellow Chromis: s-paste, caught old school
Royal Gamma: s-paste, caught old school
Southern Rough Shrimp: s-paste, caught old school
Whiteboard Anthias: s-paste, caught old school
Sebae Clown Fish: expert bait/s-spinner, caught old school
Crown Squirrel Fish: s-minnow, bites anything actually, ftf
Powder Blue Surgeon Fish: s-minnow, ftf
Painted Sweet Lips: s-earthworm, old school...tough fish to catch!
False Fusilie: s-earthworm, old school...also challenging to catch

These were my experiences when catching them. Used rare white crane for most of these because the 'elasticity' on this rod is helpful for fighting fish which need to be caught old school. Also used sss chum because I have a lot of it. I don't remember fishes attack power, just wanted to catch them all-lol!

Hope this info helps! 2 more to go. Others may have different experiences. Good luck to all! Happy Fishing!

  7. Sorry guys, ...all agree in saying that to catch the most fish of this website cannot use the technique of ftf but must use the rather old school. I personally do not know what it is and I would be grateful if any of you could simply put spiegarmela rows and how it implements. Thanks in advance John

    2. Actually you can use ftf on mola if your gear is good. with my 21 level blue white night rod, i can ftf to 40%. Having some lower tension items will also help. Just be careful when the fish dives and runs, no big moves and be patient.

I was scared by the online comments in the beginning and wasted a few opportunities. but finally land a sss mola in 1 minute with master bait.

  8. Cortez Rainbow wrasse bites S earthworm. 40xx PA at SSS rank. I found this fish to be the hardest at this site even though it has barely any health. Still no luck with Mola or Anthias. Any tips?

    2. Thanks Dinkdink. Is it really harder than hammering yeti because if so I won't bother trying. Also does it make the fight easier to min cast or not? Does Whiteboard antgias bite anything else because paste is not working for me. Thanks.

    3. OMG just caught my first sharp tail molar on crank. I got a cramp in my wrist, must have taken 10 minutes. SSS rank PA was something like 55xxx. At 1207.3 cm, mine is currently the biggest catch of the day :-). Congrats to GA evil for a making a creative new fish challenge. Oh, also I caught white bar anthias on crank while trying to hook mola.

    4. Congrats! It isn't harder than hammering yeti. Hammering yeti is my favorite fish to fight. Yeti has much faster blue mode.

    1. BO should not be hard with your stars and gear. I would say work on your VHF technique or try a different device. For example I can catch stronger fish on my tablet than phone.

  13. If cannot use FTF then how do you guys do it on stronger fish?old school technique is useful but how do you guys battle the inevitable increasing distance that will lead too the fish get away

    1. I knew there is a "stun attribute" gain through upgrading your costumes, what that attributes does, is that it can occasionally stun the fish to gray status (the more the stun star, the more frequent it occurs).
      Hope this help~
